Governing success: National Boards and their role in changing times (advanced session)
What should a national board be doing? What is a strategic role and what is an executive role? What is good governance in Scouting and Guiding? All these questions and many more will be discussed in this session. Not only will be discuss the individual role of members of the national board. We will also develop a better understanding of what policies, structures, tools and resources an organisation needs for good governance. And we will see if governance of the past also applies for the governance of the future. This session works with concrete examples and makes participants understand their own NSO/NSA/MO better. It is an advanced session, so participants are expected to be able to work on concrete questions themselves.
Target audience:Scout and Guide leaders on national and regional level that are responsible for management or leadership of the organisation
