As a mission Guides and Scouts try to help young people to find their path in life, but how do we make sure they find their path to us? A parent or a young person might be looking for Guides or Scouts in the area, so when they turn to Google or another Search Engine, can they find us? And will they like what they can see? We will explore different strategies on managing Google Maps Locations, having a functional website with uniformed branding and the basics of Search Engine Optimisation. Strategies that can be applied by MOs all the way down to local groups. The session will be “hands-on” with a video stream and tasks that can be done right in the moment. There will also be time for the group to exchange ideas and practices that already exist in their MO.
