Inclusive and accessible leadership and why it matters for successful and resilient MOs.

This session will focus on how leading in inclusive ways can promote volunteer satisfaction, boost commitment and benefit our organisations. Making leadership more accessible means enabling more diverse members to become leaders, contributing toward resilient and resourceful MOs. During the session, we will look at practical examples and you will learn about best practices from other organisations.

At the end of the session, the participants will be able to;

  • understand the benefits of practicing inclusive and accessible leadership in making volunteers thrive
  • identify obstacles to both inclusive and accessible leadership
  • lead in inclusive ways
  • take steps toward facilitating more inclusive and accessible leadership in their MOs.

Target audience- Participants interested in/in  leadership development, recruitment of volunteers, human resources and volunteer support roles
