How personal leadership practice can help overcome organisational challenges
In this session we will introduce senior MO/NSO volunteers and staff to the benefits of consciously practising leadership development. Using the WAGGGS Leadership Model to guide discussion, we want to encourage more European associations to explore their high level leadership, and look at how reflecting on our own leadership development can have a huge impact on our associations.
At the end of the session, participants will;
- An awareness of the WAGGGS Leadership Model, the associated indicators, and desired outcomes for leaders of organisations
- Explored the relevance of the model to them in their role Had the opportunity to choose and work in more depth with two or three of the Model’s outcomes that have the most meaning to them right now
- Gained ideas for how the Model’s leadership indicators can help leaders of organisation overcome challenges in new and innovative ways.
- Talked together about the impact of consciously practising leadership skills to influence the ways in which we approach problems and challenges
