What if you had the power to prevent violence from happening in the first place? Voices against Violence is a one-of-a-kind non-formal education curriculum among young people to improve their knowledge, awareness and attitudes on violence against women and girls. Upon completing the curriculum, youth were expected to take advocacy actions within their communities to prevent/address violence against women and girls. For the first time ever we are offering a two part session for national trainers or programme volunteers to be trained in the programme.
1. Have the knowledge and understanding of violence against girls
2. Become VaV Ambassadors and with the support of WAGGGS safely train other Leaders on the topic of violence against girls, using the messaging and activities of the Stop the Violence campaign and Voices against Violence curriculum.
