It is one of the most popular methods for innovation used by businesses, NGOs or the public sector. This method will help you to get to know your target audience or customer and create solutions which are tailored to their needs. Design Thinking is using many interactive methods and during the process you will explore the problem from different perspectives, destroy your previous assumptions, get out of your comfort zone and learn a lot about your target audience. The Design Thinking principles and methods can be used in various aspects from changing the format of your patrol meetings to finding innovative solutions to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. During this session you will learn in a very interactive way more about the method, its basic principles, examples of case studies and you will try some of the activities by yourself during a group work.
