Communications – the key to translating something that you’ve done, believe in or achieved, into something that is understood, relevant and of interest to others. This session will look at communications strategy and why it’s the fundamental starting point to maximise on the impact of your message and objectives as an organisation. A deep dive into what makes a great and effective communications strategy – looking at content, priorities and analysis, as well as the levers to shape and reflect your own organisation’s objectives and position. (In turn feeding into overarching Europe Region strategy and World.) Focussing on digital and social platforms, alongside their uses. Participants (YOU) will be challenged to interrogate existing strategies alongside consider how communications can help diversify and improve these. Guiding and Scouting examples will be used alongside known and established brands

Target audience: Those with existing basic knowledge in communications who are looking to shape and drive or influence own organisation’s strategies
